We are a trucking company based out of Cleveland, Ohio. We run regular routes between NY, NY to Portland, OR and Kent, Wa. We also run NY, NY to Sacramento and San Francisco CA. So anything in between we can pick up and deliver. We are insured and we do not bid on freight that we are not going to personally handle. Another words, we are not a middle man. If we bid on your shipment, we are the ones that will personally pick it up and deliver it. We do not have hidden fees for lift gates and residential deliveries. Everything is included in the price, and if not, we will tell you up-front. One more item: lately I have been hearing complaints from customers that many people bid on an item and then cannot deliver the service they bid on. Shippers!! Beware of cheap guys who bid on freight and then look for someone to do the work even cheaper. Usually this does not work and your product will not get shipped. Work with people who will do all aspects of the service promised.
My name is Wayne A. Holloway, Owner of A&T Moving & Storage LLC Vancouver, WA. Before starting my own company I worked for Allied Van Lines for 22 years, the last 5 year as Operations Manager in Portland, OR. I beleive in good customer service above all else. I am always negotiable, especially if I am going that way. I have only old schooled movers who take pride in their work. They all followed me over from Allied.
I mostly do hauls when I am going somewhere already. I mostly drive the I-5 corridor. I drive a Ford Pickup with or without enclosed utility trailer. Ignore logo if you don't have a sense of humor. UShip drivers desire to provide a great value to shippers but some of us are amazed by shippers that want something hauled for next to nothing. If I'm driving an empty truck from LA to Portland and your sofa needs to be picked up and dropped off a block from where I will be at each end I will not haul it for $50. I'd rather run empty. I understand some items are not worth paying a fortune to move. I pray for miracles also but when I really need to move something I look for a deal, not a miracle!
I'm a very safe, dependable, reliable, good driver/packer/mover/shipper (many references available) with experience moving art, installation pieces, collectables, household, furniture, tools, audio and lighting equipment, vintage/antique autos, pianos, machinery, and motorcycles. I am also happy to transport dogs of any size- I provide top of the line travel crates for your pup, and daily log of the trip for your piece of mind. I am a one man operation with additional moving crew available. I'm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Blanket wrap and tied to side for all large items. Very affordable. 14-foot and 21-foot covered box trucks with hydraulic lift-gates. Very flexible on pick-up/drop off- can accomodate. My overhead is low so your cost is less. I am new to uShip, but not to the moving business. I am establishing a monthly route between the San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, and Boise, Idaho, and hope to be able to add Seattle, Reno, and Salt Lake City in the future.
